At Vormura, personalising means the design grows out of what the sculpture needs to carry: a life story, a career, a brand shape or a moment. The sculpture is not adapted, it is conceived.
What personalising means here
A personalised sculpture begins with asking questions. What did this person do that no one else did? What did this company stand for when it started? Which form suits this brand, and which absolutely does not?
Those answers lead to a design direction. Sometimes literal - an instrument, a tool, an animal that belongs to someone. More often abstract: a movement, a proportion, a detail that only the insider recognises. The latter usually works strongest, because the sculpture then also stands on its own.
What can go into a sculpture
- A career: the first machine, the product it started with, the place where the company began.
- A person: a hobby, a stance, a gesture that everyone recognises from them.
- A brand: a form, proportion or choice of material that fits the brand identity.
- A moment: the year, the milestone, the names of those present - subtle or prominent.
- An inscription: a name, date or sentence, engraved or cast into the sculpture itself.
Not everything fits into a form, and we say so honestly. Sometimes an element works better as a reference than as a depiction - we discuss that during the design phase.

A configurator is faster. A design of your own is the only thing that is truly about you.
Inscription and certificate
An inscription can be placed in the sculpture itself, in the plinth or on a discreet plate on the back - depending on material and design. Every sculpture comes with a certificate stating the design, the material, the year and the maker.

In the briefing, we ask the questions that shape the design. If it concerns a person, colleagues or family often help with details the honouree would never mention themselves. If it concerns a company, we dive into its history: the first premises, the first product, the story everyone knows.
