Why we do this
Every company has moments and people that are bigger than an agenda item. A founder who dared. A colleague who stayed for forty years. A merger that brought two histories together. Such things are celebrated with a speech and a drink - and afterwards everyone gets back to work.
We believe those stories deserve a tangible form. Something that remains standing once the celebration is over, that is seen anew every day, and that passes the story on to those who were not there.
In an age of fleeting content and disposable gestures, a sculpture is the opposite: slowly made, permanently present, meaning entrusted to material. That is why we do this.
About the name
Vormura is a new name for work that has existed for longer. We made bespoke corporate sculptures under a name known mainly among private individuals, alongside garden statues and decoration - and that did the work an injustice. Companies commissioning a sculpture for an anniversary or a farewell are looking for craftsmanship, not a webshop.
That is why we have given the corporate work its own name and its own home. Same hands, same company, same craftsmanship - but now in a place where it belongs.
How we work
Every commission follows the same route: briefing, design, proof step, production, installation. The proof step is the core - you see the sculpture as a 3D visual or a proof model and give your approval before we make anything. From that moment, the design and the price are fixed.
